A little bit of history, back in 2016 I had this idea to ride and pack raft from Nelson Lakes to Kaikoura and I had seen a pretty decent-sized mountain next to the Clarence river on google earth, and by the looks of it had some pretty epic lines to be ridden.
I was yaking to my mate Deane Parker and before I knew it we had an expedition team. The outcome was the Waiau-toa Odyssey film which exceeded any of the team's expectations.... but with that trip, there was some unfinished business "MT Dillon cone"!
